BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Sept. 25-Oct. 3. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

Sept. 19 (late entries)

Deputy Cody Laite responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Moosehead Trail in Waldo. According to witness statements, the operator was allegedly driving erratically prior to the crash, telling Laite the 2006 Dodge passenger van was “all over the road,” swerving across both the center and fog lines. The operator reportedly failed to navigate a sweeping corner, instead driving off the road and colliding head-on with a tree. The operator, who was eventually arrested for operating under the influence refused medical treatment. The vehicle, which Laite estimated as a total loss, was towed from the scene.

David P. Watt, 40, of Waldo, was arrested for operating under the influence on Moosehead Trail in Waldo.

Sept. 20 (late entry)

Deputy Jonathan Shaw responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Bangor Road in Troy, where one vehicle was attempting to merge into the travel lane from a driveway when another vehicle, traveling the same direction, crested a hill, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles. There were no injuries, and both vehicles, including a trailer being towed by the second vehicle, were towed from the scene.

Sept. 25

Kelly Hynd, 45, of Cushing, was arrested for violating conditions of release, domestic violence terrorizing and domestic violence assault.

Sept. 26

Deputy Laite responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Lincolnville Road in Belmont, where the operator of one vehicle,
