Meeting date set for CMHRA

AUBURN — The Central Maine Human Resources Association will hold its Annual Law Update from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Auburn. The majority of the meeting will focus on medical marijuana, using a role play exercise.

Attorney Peter Lowe, a partner at Brann Isaacson, will be the presenter of the meeting. He provides advice and counsel on labor and employment law and education law. He serves as lead labor counsel for some of the premier employers in Maine.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. The fee is $20 per person for members, $30 per person for nonmembers. Payment (cash or check) will be accepted at the registration table. Main sponsor of the event is Baystate Financial Services and the coffee break sponsor is Geiger.
