Tuesday, April 8: Chief Ron Young took a complaint of a traffic hazard on Biscay Road.

Wednesday, April 9: Young and Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to a local business on a report of a burglar alarm. The alarm was tripped in error.

Polizzotti took an animal complaint on Abbie Lane. He referred it to the animal control officer; took a theft complaint; and took a complaint of a missing rental car.

Officer Jason Warlick conducted a Speed Detail on Hodgdon Street; took a suspicious activity complaint on Parking Lot Lane; conducted a pedestrian check on a subject on Biscay Road, and escorted the subject to his home; and responded to Hodgdon Green, along with CLC Ambulance for a medical emergency.

Thursday, April 10: Young responded to a local business on a report of a burglar alarm. It was a false alarm.

George C. Betke, Jr. of Newcastle was summonsed for operating the wrong way on a one way street.

Warlick and Officer John Sylvester responded to Bristol Road on a report of a traffic hazard. A tree limb was hanging into the roadway causing cars to have to swerve around it.

Sylvester responded to Rite Aid on a report that someone hit the column out front.

Deputy Chief Chad Andrews and Sylvester assisted Miles Memorial Hospital with getting blue papers signed.

Friday, April 11: Andrea L. Goth, 26, of Salida, Colo., was summonsed for failure to register her vehicle by Sylvester.

Dorian Libby, 20, of Waldoboro was summonsed for possession of marijuana by Sylvester.
